Rose Theresa Andrina

Rose Theresa Andrina was born on May 23, 1929 in Okmulgee to Frank and Stephanie Gebetsberger. She passed from this life on June 12, 2013 at the age of 84. Theresa graduated from St. Anthony Catholic School in 1947 and went on to take several courses at OSU Technical School. She married Joseph D. Andrina on April 23, 1949 and helped him and his family in the Andrina Grocery Store. She worked in several businesses in the downtown area and served as Administrative Assistant to Iris Brownfield, Accountant, for 29 years. Theresa was president of BPW for 2 years and a member until it disbanded. She enjoyed being a member and participating in organizations at her church including Catholic Daughters of America and Altar Society in which she held the notable position as Sunshine Lady for many years. Theresa was always smiling and enjoyed helping in any way she could, especially with her church activities. God and family were always the primary focus of her life. Theresa is survived by her daughter, Karen Hunt and husband, Harold, of Davis, Oklahoma; son, Chuck Andrina and wife, Nancy, of Oscoda, Michigan; grandson, Bryan Andrina, of Oscoda, Michigan and granddaughter, Dr. Emily Kloska and husband Dr. Brad Kloska of East Tawas, Michigan; great grandchildren: Abby, Kelsey and Logan Kloska; sister Martha Vazzo and husband, Joseph of Tulsa; brothers George Gebetsberger and wife, Ann, of Tulsa and Dr. Charles Gebetsberger of Sapulpa as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph, brother, John and sister, Kay. A funeral service will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 17, 2013 with Father Benjamin Vima presiding. Visitation will be held at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home on Sunday from 5-7 with a brief remembrance service scheduled at 5:30 P.M. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthony Catholic Church in Okmulgee. A special thanks is extended to the nurses and staff at RoseRock Hospice of Tulsa.
