Lucas Ashley Holleman

Lucas Ashley "Luke" Holleman was born July 31, 1981 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Arthur Lee Holleman, Jr. and Jill (Brian) Holleman. He graduated from Okmulgee High School with the Class of 2000 and was a Valedictorian. He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2005 with a degree in Finance. Luke worked as a Loan Officer at First National Bank of Okmulgee for several years before joining his father and grandmother in the family business as General Manager at Holleman Iron and Metal. Luke was a two time state champion tennis player in high school. He loved the outdoors, whether he was hiking, camping, target shooting, hunting, fishing or golfing. Luke was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and the Oklahoma Scrap Metal Dealer's Association. He was also involved with United Way Campaign for several years. Luke will be remembered for the way he could make others laugh. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Shelley Brian and Arthur Holleman, Sr., uncle Buck Brian and nephew Brian Mayfield, Jr. Survivors include his parents, Ott and Jill Holleman, of Okmulgee, sisters Heather Hackler and husband Buddy of Glenpool and Cassie Holleman of Preston, and BriAnne Riffe and husband Jason of Broken Arrow, brother, Ott Holleman and wife Valerie of Broken Arrow, grandmother Betty Holleman of Okmulgee, nieces and nephews Tyler Sutterfield, Hayden Day, Bailey Hackler, Dusty Hale, Brian Mayfield, Kameron Mayfield, Ashlyn Ray, Jadyn Riffe, Leah Riffe, Brison Riffe, Madison Holleman and Arthur Holleman IV, great niece and nephew Tamon Sutterfield and Ellie Sutterfield, and Luke's dog, Miles. Luke is also survived by his Uncle Dude and many close cousins, friends and classmates. Friends may visit the funeral home from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and a Wake Service will begin at 7:00 P.M. on Friday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Joshua Litwack officiating. Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luke's memory.
