Robert Henry Sipple
Robert Henry Sipple,
longtime resident of Morris, died Monday, April 20, 2009 at Okmulgee Memorial
Hospital. He was 76 years of age.
He was born January 13, 1933 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to Albert and
Mable (LaBar) Sipple. He joined the
United States Air Force in November 1952 and received an Honorable Discharged in
November 1956. Robert married
Barbara Mae Tait on March 17, 1956 in Washington D.C.
In 1972, Robert and Barbara moved to Morris from Owasso.
He was an electrical design draftsman, retiring from Explorer Pipeline
Company after 25 years and an avid golfer.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Rita Whitonis of
Mountain Top, Pennsylvania. Survivors
include his wife, Barbara, of the home and two sisters, Ruth Heath of Ironia,
New Jersey and Marlene Bott of Newcomb, New York.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 24, 2009 at the
McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Mathews officiating.
Interment will follow at the Morris Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 12-8 P.M. on Thursday.
