Patrick Dean (Pat) Pearce,
45, died in Okmulgee on Tuesday, February 10, 2009.
He was born in Okmulgee on August 24, 1963.
Pat graduated from Okmulgee High School in 1981.
He had worked for 15 years for Mike Bailey Motor Company, and was
owner/operator of Pat Pearce Trucking.
He enjoyed spending time with family, camping, fishing and going to his
son Clayton’s Ballgames. Never
meeting a stranger, he had a multitude of friends and acquaintances.
Always willing to lend a helping hand in a time of need.
There was always a smile on his face, a joke or story to tell to help you
laugh along with him and brighten the day.
Hi mother, Linda Pearce, grandparents Charlie and Verna Lee Dickerson,
his uncle Ron Dickerson preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife
Jennifer and son Clayton of the home, daughters Tabitha Music and fiancée Davey
James, Samantha Clark and husband Brandon Clark and grand daughter Nadia Clark
all of Okmulgee. Two brothers; Jim
and his wife Debbie Pearce of Collinsville, Tom and his wife Geri Pearce of
Leach, Oklahoma, along with aunts and uncles; Jim and Kathy Dickerson of
Okmulgee, Larry and Luana Dickerson of Tulsa, Vicki Dickerson of Jenks and a
host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be
Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 11 am at the 1st Baptist Church in
Okmulgee. Rev. Tim Reeves will
officiate. Visitation will be on
Friday, 1-8pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home.
Pat’s family will be available at the Funeral Home 5-7 pm on Friday.
Burial will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the
McClendon-Winters Funeral Home.
