Claudette Leach
Claudette Louise Leach, a resident of Highland Park Manor, died Tuesday, January
6, 2009 at the age of 66. She was born
January 31, 1942 in Independence, Kansas to the late Claude and Jane
(Brandenburg) Cotton. She worked for the
Tulsa County Health Department, and later her job was under the Department of
Agriculture from April 1, 1986 until her retirement on March 31, 2004.
She moved to Okmulgee in May 2007.
Claudette enjoyed painting, crafts, sewing and working in her garden.
She is survived by three daughters, Becky Brandenburg of Ft. Worth,
Texas, Jennifer Pearce and husband Pat of Okmulgee and Sarah Jackson of Tulsa, a
brother, Charles Cotton and wife Jeanne of Tulsa, a sister, Carolyn Wood and
husband Gary of Twain Harte, California, grandchildren, Daniel Ward, Josh Ward,
Jason Ward, Tabitha Music, Samantha Clark, and Clayton Pearce, and Blake
Jackson, and her great grandchildren, Gabriel Ward, Nadia Clark and Caleb
Jackson. A Memorial Service will be held
11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home
Chapel. Arrangements are under the
direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
