Kathryn Foust

Kathryn Marie Foust, 73, longtime resident of Okmulgee, died Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital.  She was born November 14, 1935 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Otis and Goldie Marie (Sivils) Adams.  Kathryn loved flowers and plants and spending time with her horses.  She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church and retired from the Social Security Administration as a Case Worker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Buddy Foust, three brothers, Stanley, Jerry and Donald Adams, a son, Phillip Foust and a great grandchild.  Survivors include four sons, Danny Foust and wife Belinda of Preston, Stephen Foust of Okmulgee, Joe Foust and wife Karen of Okmulgee and Mark Foust of Ft. Worth, Texas, a daughter, Susan Upchurch and husband Warren of Phoenix, Arizona, nine grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the First Freewill Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Kirby officiating.  Interment will follow in the Okmulgee Cemetery.  Casketbearers will be Chris Wofford, Jared Foust, Josh Foust, Billy Brown, Chris Foust and Larry Chandler.  Friends may visit the funeral home on Monday from 12-6 P.M. and Tuesday from 9-12 P.M.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.  Online condolences may be sent at www.mcclendon-winters.com
