Preston Milford
Caudle Sr. a resident of Morris, Oklahoma, died on Sunday, July 26, 2009 in
Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. Caudle was
born on March 18, 1938 in Superior, Arizona to Earl Glen and Minnie Lou
(Bagwell) Caudle Sr. He received his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Central
State University in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Mr. Caudle served in the United States Navy and as a Civil Service
Auditor for the Air Force. He
retired as an auditor employed by the United States Department of Education.
His parents and his first wife; Kay Francis Wakley Caudle preceded him in
death. Mr. Caudle was an active
member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Okmulgee, where he had served as a
Deacon and a Sunday school teacher.
He was also a member of the Gideon.
Survivors include
his wife Carmen Caudle of the home, a daughter Melita Kay Caudle, Jacksonville,
North Carolina, two sons; Preston Caudle Jr. of Shreveport, Louisiana, and
Reverend Fredrick Glen Caudle of Waldolf, Maryland,
one brother; Earl Glen Caudle Jr. of Okmulgee, one sister; Jarita Ann
Caudle Brown of Shawnee, Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 1
great grandchild and 3 step great grandchildren other relatives and a host of
friends.
A funeral service
will be on Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at 6 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church in
Okmulgee. Reverend Lawrence
Matlock, Reverend Fred Caudle and Reverend Earl Caudle will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Deacons of Calvary Baptist Church. Military interment
services will be on Thursday, July
30, 2009 at 12pm at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler, Oklahoma.
Visitation will be on Wednesday 12-4pm at the McClendon-Winters Funeral
Home in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
