Vicky Roach

Vicky Lynn Roach, resident of Beggs, died Friday morning, February 22, 2008 at St. John Hospital in Tulsa. She was 44 years of age. Vicky was born February 13, 1964 in Sapulpa to Lynn Edward and Frances Elizabeth (Hardy) Yardley. She attended school in Beggs and graduated from Beggs High School in 1982. Vicky then received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Tulsa in 1986. She worked for BizJet as accounting manager from 1986 until 1994, when she became a stay at home mom. Vicky married Garry A. Roach on May 15, 1992 in Sapulpa. As her children began school, Vicky started working at Beggs Elementary School, where she was currently employed. She loved being a mother and enjoyed attending her children’s activities. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Sapulpa. Survivors include her husband Garry of the home, two children, Haley Morgan Roach and Aidan Scott Roach, both of the home, her parents, Lynn and Frances Yardley of Mounds, two sisters, Karen Barnett and husband Gary of Mounds and Ginger Shaw and husband Rusty of Mounds, nephews and nieces, Jacob Barnett and wife Tiffany of Tulsa, Jordan Barnett and wife Hannah of Tulsa, Emma Shaw of Mounds and Anna Shaw of Mounds, and her mother and father-in-law, Richard and Bonnie Roach of Beggs. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at the Beggs Cemetery with Pastor Gary Barnett officiating. A Celebration of Vicky’s Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Church of God of Prophecy on Lexington Road in Sapulpa. Friends may visit the funeral home from 3-8 P.M. on Sunday on from 9-8 P.M. on Monday.
