Maxine McPherson

Maxine McPherson 80, a resident of Okmulgee, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 in Tulsa. She was born on August 29, 1927 to Cornelius and Laura Ann (Jenkins) Williams. She and her husband owned and operated the McPherson Pest Control Company in Tulsa for over 30 years. Maxine enjoyed her family, cooking stamping and gardening. She was a member of the Dripping Springs HCE. Her parents, husband Paul Earl McPherson, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Surviving is her two daughters; Marilyn and her husband Ron Chambers of Broken Arrow, OK, Connie and her husband Terry Miller of Okmulgee, one brother Dean Williams of Springfield, MO, one sister Mildred Rozell of Nexa, MO and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, 1 PM at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Daniel of Heritage United Methodist Church in Broken Arrow officiating. Pallbears will be Mark Dawson, Glen Dawson, Blake Frost, Jeff Forrester, Kevin Williams and Ron Chambers. Interment will be at 3 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.
