Margie Faye Butler
Margie Faye Butler, 80, died on June 4,
2008 at her residence in Okmulgee. Margie was born on December 31, 1927 in
Shreveport, Louisiana to Ernest A. and Clara Jane (Baker) Furer. She enjoyed her
children, grand children, and her great grand children, cooking, sewing, and
crafting. Margie also loved to mow her lawn.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband
Robert E. Butler, three brothers; Ernest T., Clifford, and Cecil D. Furer, and
four sisters; Delores Furer, June Tice, Beverly Winland and Betty Hoskinson.
She is survived by her four children; Gary and wife Geneva
Cline of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Raymond and wife Ingrid Cline of Okmulgee,
Oklahoma, Rebecca (Becky) and husband Joe Arnold of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and
Robert (Sonny) and wife Debbie Cline of Tulsa, Oklahoma, grandchildren; Michelle
Campbell, Melissa Hall, Keith Cline, Justin Cline, Crystal Burgess, Lana
Watkins, Amber Larsen, great grandchildren Christian Campbell, Cheyenne
Campbell, Dakota Hall, Genessee Cline, Tiffani Burgess, Madison Scott, Tori
Burgess, Trent Burgess, Mason Watkins, Tanner Burgess, and Karter Larsen. Margie
had many many friends as well including one special friend of twenty years,
Harold Coppenger.
Services for Margie will be Saturday, June 8, 2008 at the
Calvary Baptist Church at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Lawrence Matlock officiating.
Interment will follow at the Okmulgee Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Brian
Burgess, Justin Cline, Keith Cline, Gerald (Gator) Hall, Erik Larsen, and Duane
Watkins. Honorary casketbearers are Harold Coppenger, Trent Burgess, and Dakota
Hall. Friends may visit the funeral home from 12:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, June 6,
2008. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral
home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association in
care of the funeral home. Services are under the direction of McClendon-Winters
